None. Though I must have a few screws loose.
I was surprised to learn that I had healed fractures in my left leg, and right elbow, when I had a scan! I guess I am pretty immune to certain types of pain. I popped my own shoulder back in, without crying, when I dislocated it having been thrown from a horse (warming up for a dressage test, it was SOOOOOO embarrassing!).
Having said that, my pain threshold is drastically reduced these days because I have constant discomfort in my spine...

Most people that have had laparoscopic surgery, have had metal sutres inserted, even if their surgeon has not informed them. Which manufacturer, name, model numbers, sizes are you interested in and why? Without that information, dependant upon the type of x ray you have, i.e. ultra sound, m.r.i. scan, your results and health may be compromised.on some tests. As some metal objects become either radiolucient or radio opaque. the magnetic resonance imager is operated by 3 large magnets, which can effect the sutres and results, albeit fractionally. Most people have metal amalgum in their mouths as a result of fillings.

Sounds more like a sculpture than a man! I bet he has trouble with metal detectors. I hope you don't go riding pillion with him. I've got a couple of titanium bits to hold two of my teeth in place, can't see them though. Not an accident just age.

Well I actually had a plate and screws in my knee. I was in a car accident where my knee was crushed in and they needed to put them in to reconstruct it. I had them taken out though after my knee healed. They hurt more then my crushed knee did lol. It felt like the screws were going to poke out of my skin. I still have aches from it lol.
