i don't know. depends on how your relationship works. when i don't like something my husband has/wears he will change it. not because i ask him to or make him but just because he wants me to like whatever.
i on the other hand don't care if he likes or hates whatever. i do what i want.
i say keep it for a while. they won't be in style forever and then you can go back to having "normal" hair. your girlfriend will be happy to have you looking different and you will be happy to have had the mohawk.

If you are going to get a mohawk, just shave your head. Some women think it's sexy.
