ill be in the middle of a conversation, it will suddenly go off, my internet is still working, what is happening, its very annoying!!!!

first of all which version is installed on your computer?
What i advice you to do is unistall the msn, then turn your pc off then install version 7.5 which hardly producess any problems...Hopefully it should work... GOOD LUCK

this happens quite a bit
most of the guys I have heard having same problem are using BT as ISP - it seems there is a problem with the connection to the Broadband with BT and whereas websites appear more stabel and can cope, MSN is more fragile and crashes. Sorry can't help, but be reassured, you aren't the only one!

'cos MSN has been crap ever since they switched to making the messenger with .NET - Thankfully you can now talk to your MSN Messenger contacts via the vastly superior YAHOO MESSENGER from version 8.1 upwards from http://messenger.yahoo.com
