Played EQ back in the day. It was a great game, good content and all... but thats the past
WOW is the only real choice out there,, AND its getting a huge expansion pack next week to make it even better. The graphics are wonderful, rich content, quests, and much better rules on experience gain, marketing your items, rested state, etc. They really listened to their fans and made a game the way it should be.

I played the original EverQuest for 6 years and it was good back when it was popular. However, EQ is built around large raiding groups and that is not very fun.
World of Warcraft gives the option to solo, play with small groups or do up to 40 man raids. 40 man raiding isn't fun and up until now, it was the only way to get decent gear. This all changes january 16th when the first expansion for WoW launches - The Burning Crusade. I would suggest WoW as it has a great deal to offer, many play styles and it is very fun.

Well, i've played them all (nearly) and the only one i have ever stayed on is WoW, its just too good. For a person like me who often gets really bored really quickly with Online MMORPG's this is the only one which has kept me going and has actually been fun along the way, i have played City of Heroes, City of Villains, Everquest, Knight Online, Runescape, Guild Wars and so many more that i cannot remember keep on WoW if you're not on it already, plus with the burning crusade coming out soon (about 11 - 12 days) you can't afford to not play it.

im addicted to world of warcraft and im like about to marry this girl. Im not sure whats going to happen. I was thinking of playing it when im not with her. I dont play it if she is free and wants me to come over. let me explain to you why its so addictive. In this game which is composed of something like 6 million people you can do things that u could never do in real life. U can make thousands of people hate u or thousands of people love u. U can destroy peoples lives with a click of a button or u can make them happy , u can control people! U have jobs in this game, and for most of the time ure trying to get richer the more richer u r the powerful u become the more powerful u become the more people u can control. i could go on but i think u get the point:) this game is the start of very scary future in computer gaming ----> where life in a game is more important and much more exciting than real life itself

I play WoW (World of Warcraft) and its pretty fun.
Never played EverQuest though...
But dont play RuneScape... I hated that game.

Now mostly have gone p2p......which means u need to pay a monthly fee to play them but due to this many unofficial servers have emerged which r run by non-profital teams who wanna keep the spirit of game up n host a server for u for free..........so its best u go for unofficial free servers ;P
N yes for now i'm mostly into A3 online only cause it seems to be da best for me :D

yeah im a WarCrack Head....i play WoW.... never palyed everquest but it looked good too.... (not enuff time for two mmo's in my life....(especially if i have to pay for it) so i never looked into it ) i played runescape but then i realized it was dumb and quit .
but then again most mmo's have no point ... im just gonna enjoy wow wile i can so good luck

whats the proble. you dont want to pay monthy fee get guild wars factions it has great graphics and no monthly fee its 30 bucks tho
