Being overweight can make it more difficult in getting pregnant. Unless you are very fertile. (I am overweight and I get pregnant VERY easily.) Try getting pregnant while losing some weight. It wont hurt and may help. Also.. I am sorry for the loss of your little girl. Good luck and baby dust.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is best/ideal to be at a lower weight because you can have some health issues if you are a bit heavier (High blood pressure, Diabetes, etc.) but it does not affect your chances of becoming pregnant. As long as you are ovulating every month, you can get pregnant. I was overweight when I got pregnant with my 1st; so I know from experience.
Good luck and I hope you become pregnant again soon.

It all depends what you hear.....I am pretty overweight and my docotr insisted that I was not ovulating because of the extra weight, but I KNEW I was because I was charting..........I am now 37 weeks pregnant! He was wrong. I have only gained 11 total lbs and the baby is fine and the pregnancy has been normal. This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths

im sorry for your loss everybody says weight does affect getting pregnant but i am overweight and i got pregnant first try so it all depends on if your fertile or not but you may still want to lose a little before because carrrying extra weight around while your pregnant is dangerous and very uncomfortable but as long as you dont gain to much with this pregnancy you should be ok good luck

Weight doesn't have the last say in how hard it is to get pregnant.
What is more important though is what shape you are in, generally, if the body is ready for a pregnancy.
Weight can have some affect, but so can tons of other things regarding to your health. If you are unsure if you are in shape to try to get pregnant again, you should discuss it with your doctor :)

I am very sorry to hear about your baby. I don't think weight can affect whether you can get pregnant or not, I know that if your too skinny then you will have a very difficult time having the child when the time is right. Good luck with everything though.

Doctors will tell you that being overweight will prevent you from getting pregnant but I know so many women that are overweight and have had children 1+ times....I would say that you being upset is playing a big part of not becoming pregnant, stress does some pretty crazy things to you....Hope all works out for you :}

Your weight can not affect you getting pregnant because weight has nothig to do with pregnancy or having kids.Besides, the only reason it could be aproblem is if you are extremly overweight and are super unhealthy.
