Some people get spotting mid cycle, it can sometime even be quite heavy like a period. If it's a problem for you, then you might want to think about hormonal birth control, like the pill. Regulating my periods was the original reason I started the pill.

Depends on your age and how frequently you are having bleeds. Maybe these are not periods if your flow is light...are you on the pill? See your GP...possibilities are infection, hormone imbalance or something like fibroids or endometriosis. Did you recently take the morning after pill? Most things are easily explained and/or treated. Don't worry but get it checked out.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/OVnMi
