depends what kind of team i have, but in most cases i would go with Nash...dont get me wrong, i think arenas is very underrated and he seems to have no ceiling to how good he is getting, however Nash is the kind of leader you will make everyone on the floor better, a quality which arenas does not currently posses. So while I agree that areas is a better scorer and defender, i'd still have to go with Nash on my team

Probably Arenas. Arenas will make any team better but Nash is useless if he doesn't have any good guys to pass to. I don't get why everyone calls high scorers ballhogs. It's just an excuse that guys (or Girls) say because they can't score "I don't wanna be a ball hog"

Nash... Arenas is clutch but Nash will get a team further in the playoffs. Arenas does have a lot fo help on his team even thought Nash has a lot more. Nash's overall stats are better then that of Arenas's.

If I'm playing B-ball in my neighborhood or in PE I would like to have gilbert because he is a better scorer but if I'm a college basketball team I would want Steve Nash simply because college hoop gets everyone involved and Nash is the man to go to if you wanna have everyone involved.
Sorry for the bad English
And Gilbert is sooo underrated!!

Arenas hands down. He's productive on both good and bad teams and he plays defense.
Nash is just the opposite.

Arenas. He can score 40 points on any given night and take over games. Arenas is also a good passer and good defender.
Nash's durability can sometimes come into question.
