how can you save videos from youtube to your computer without having to sign on the internet to watch them?

You can use a website like keepvid http://www.keepvid.com/ and enter the url or link for that video and then it will let you download it as a flv (flash) file.

You can then use a flash player or VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ to play these files on your computer.

I don't think that there is a way but you can download videos from limewire (check if it's still legal though). The videos on Youtube are those hosted and uploaded by people who downloaded them first. Therefore, you'd have to go through the same process - to download it too.

go to http://keepvid.com and enter in the address of the youtube video and follow the instructions on the bottom of the page on how to download it. you'll also need a media player that can play .flv files

Type in the search bar on youtube..."How to download off youtube". Youll find a bunch of vids on how to do it. lol. Good luck
