My mother had left the house, and I didn't hear where she said she was going. I called my brothers name a few times and he didn't respond. Then, I went upstairs and knocked on his door and he was sitting on his chair and looked like he was asleep. I called his name again and his head moved and he leaned up. I went over to him and his eyes were bloodshot red, like he had been crying or something, and he was speaking in a very, very soft weird voice. I've heard before that after people do drugs their eyes get red, am I overreacting or should I be worried? Do you think he had been crying?

This is the first time it's happened, and he's 15. I'm really scared to ask him upfront about it or tell my parents. I don't know what to do...

Contact you Mom Or Dad right away I think your right he did drugs Sounds like he might have OD. Check his pupils and see if they stay large they should go small if he not on any drugs Check his pulse to see if it is real rapped or slow hardly there at all . If you can't get a hold of mom get a neigbor or call 911

If you have a good relationship with your brother you can try asking him in a way that doesn't offend him, like "Hey are you okay? I notice your eyes are red and you don't sound like yourself. Is there anything I can help you with?". Afterall, you're concerned about him, so just say so. If you notice other behaviors like missing school or changes in his appetite, then maybe that's something for your parents to look into. IT is so obvious if he was crying his eyes would not be bloodshot red they would only be puffy and red only around the eye. I think he is either smoking marijuana or drinking 2 much. But if you really want to find out just ask him if he doesnt give you an answer go to one of his closest friends and ask him. It isnt that hard!

He could have been hung over or extremely tired. Pot does give you red eyes and make you kinda... stupid. If he had the munchies shortly after it's likely he was smoking pot. But someone that doesn't smoke can definantly smell it on someone that has been smoking.

you have every right to be worried and to be overreacting.you should tell someone wats going on and get him some help. he could die from whatever he's doing. one guy went braindead. then again dont jump to conclusions. he really could have been crying so ask him first be fore you do anything else.

I would freak out if that happened to my brother. If you are really worried, you tell your parents! Or follow him out the door and try to see where's he going! Good luck!

I think you should be worried. He may be on drugs. Tell your parents or someone else you trust, like a teacher or pastor or something.

its usually do to either the sun or the ocen water itself the salt in the sand may also do it. If you didnt go into the water than it was probably the sun because beleive i or not your eyes instead of being sunburned they get irritated so get some cleareyes or some kind of irritation releif eye drops

Probably drugs. If he had been crying, you would have probably known without a doubt. You can always tell when someone's been crying.

same thing goes on with my brother but I have no idea if he gets high or not.....u should try talking to him but be nice about it and don't make him feel like he's in trouble.....yes...when ppl do drugs their eyes get like that but definetely talk to him
and see what you can find out...maybe he's having some problems or he's hanging out with the wrong ppl........
but to me it looks like he needs someone to listen to him and you may be just the right person....
