I'm pretty sure those people were just being jerks.
I don't know if he is gay or not, but it shouldn't really matter.
It's his life, and thats how it should be kept.

I seriously doubt Edward Norton is gay. He went with Salma Hayek for quite a while there. I doubt any guy who would date Salma Hayek that long is gay!
