Have you looked under medieval torture/ punishment? There are several sites if you type this in mywebsearch that give you extensive documentation and links.
Punishments were very much the same until the end of the 17th century so would cover the Tudor period (beheading. hanging. quartering. the rack. the wheel. the pillory. the stocks. burning etc...) for crimes that ranged from simple misdeeds to what were perceived as dreadful crimes such as having the wrong religion or plotting against the king/queen.

It was one f the worst of times for the common man. People feared night time. Think about it. There were no dead bolts on doors. Houses were shabbily constucted. Just some hay or thin animal hide to pull over the windows. No electricity... no lights to leave on. To leave a candle was not a good option considering the construction of the buildings. Outside, no street lights. Just total darkness. There was no way to secure a home at night.... or animals. Goats, pigs, even cattle were brought into the home so they wouldn't be killed or stolen during the night. Most crime occurred during this time. Just like today, there were roving gangs who eagerly awaited nightfall... a time much feared across the countryside. Under the cover of night and total darkness, a murder could occur and did so frequently. There was no CSI. No 911 to call. This was a fearsome time in Tudor history and would continue to be so for hundreds of years to come. Much crime.... oh,yes, and brutal crime, by sword and knife, but very little punishment because there were s imply no resources for pursuit of criminals and very little effort to do so.

Don't have a link, but you could google "medieval torture". They often beheaded or hanged a person. Sometimes prisoners were tortured on the "rack", You can get some info at library under medieval England in Encyclopedia Brittanica.
