I need to retrain after a tire rotation. No directions in manual. I do not have a donut but a full size spare tire on a nonmatching rim mounted under the car. I do not rotate this spare. I've seen that it has something to do with a magnet but I don't know if I have the magnet somewhere or you can use any type. Any help would be appreciated and save the cost of visiting my dealer.

This one is easy. Keep hitting the button on your overhead display until it says retrain tire sensor. It will then tell you which tire to start at, usually driver front and then go clockwise. Place the magnet around the tire stem, after each sensor has been retrained, the horn will honk. Move on to the next tire. If your full size spare has a sensor in it, it will need to be retrained even if it has not been rotated.

The sensors are in the rims at the air fill. As long as they are there you should have no problems. Also keep the tire psi within a few pounds of high and low or the warning light on the dash will light up.
