As bad as he is he is not the only one.
The only thing that has had a chance to save the country is the sudden appearance of free speech via the Internet.
Without that, the Gang Of Predators would still be what they are, but the information would be more successfully covered up.

Bush definitely ensured the loss of Congress by Republicans by his (1) mismanagement of the Iraq war and (2) his big deficit spending. These two issues kept a lot of the Republican base from voting. The recent election was more a protest against Bush than an endorsement of Democrats.
The Republicans in congress deserve a lot of the blame. They are the ones who spent all of the money that has tripled our national debt in the past few years.

They are still in office, just not the majority. His war caused much collateral damage to his party, there is no doubt about that. The democrats have a majority but not the power to override a Presidential veto, so we can expect more of the same. The only difference is his arrogance will be more extreme as his power is challenged. He made that clear yesterday with his rose garden press conference.

Arrogance should never be confused with confidence! This error can be insulting to you as it gives the appearance of being a Democrat or even worse, a Liberal.
President Bush is still in office because his term is not up until 2008.

You have just been reported. I'm sure you know George Bush personally and that's why you can make such statements about him. Just because you don't like a certain group doesn't mean you should resort to name calling. You need to grow up.

Show some respec for the office and the man. He is the President. You can disagree with him or his policies, that is your right as an American, but that's no reason to resort to name-calling.

Probably so. The Republicans really didn't do such a bad job. It's mostly Bush's policies everyone is riled about.
