I have cable internet and I disconnected the cord to play xbox live for the first time today when I plugged it back in and turned my computer on it said limited or no connectivity what do I do? Im at the library now btw

Ethernet... you need to run ipconfig to reset your connection
1. Start > Run > type in "cmd" and hit enter don't use the quotes
2. in the command window type "ipconfig /release" this releases your network connection. (this will show all zero's for your ip)
3. then type ipconfig /renew to renew your connection (this will set the ip numbers to match your modem or router.)
4. It should work now

You should first try to restart your computer. If that doesn't work you then try to restart your modem, to do this turn off the power to the modem wait about 1 minute. Then turn it back on. This should work this is what I do.
