Yesterday, I replaced his toothpaste with hemorrhoid cream. When he went to brush his teeth, his mouth puckered shut and stayed that way for a few hours. Now he won't even speak to me.
Did I go too far?

Of course you're just making this up for a couple of reasons. Hemorrhoid creme doesn't look like toothpaste and does not come in anything resembling toothpaste container.
