they keep calling even though I've told them they can't reach the person they want at my number, they said they will continue to call because I have no forwarding number to give them! help, they yell at me, interrupt constantly, and even called me a bad mother. they say they have every right to yell at me because I am "antagonizing" them! Their number keeps showing up as a blocked call, like my hubby's phone, so I can't not answer... Help, what do I do?

Don't answer it, or tell them if the harassment continues your lawyer will be in contact with them.

Keep giving them the same answer. They will eventually get the message and stop calling.

When they ask for so-and-so and you know it's them, ask who's calling. Get name and company BEFORE you agree to continue the conversation or to tell them if so-and-so is there. Once you get the name of the company, look them up on the net or D&B and get the name of their CEO. Call him and explain the situation. Follow-up with certified letter reviewing the conversation. No threats to them - unless they again get nasty. Record a conversation, record it to a CD, and mail to them stating another call and you will sue and post negative comments at the better business bureau's.

They are trying to make a buck and they train their people to be this rude. Hope this helps.

Send them a letter telling them that if they continue to call, you will file for reimbursement in alliance with bad debt collection act. Make sure the letter is signed for, and you get the signature. If they continue to call, you can take them to court and get about 1,000 dollars for every call they make to you.

Record them then report them to your local police, the phone company and contact a lawyer. Judges HATE them.

report them and curse them out like a drunken sailor. Ask to speak to a manager. honestly, i had one call me, i calmly asked them to send me the detailed info so i could address it. i waited and waited for the detail. they called back during this waiting period like i never asked for it. After 2 weeks I got nothing, so that gave me license that everytime they called I lit into them. i used to do telemarketing so i have a soft spot for the callers to some extent. you curse them out and ask for the manager enough, they write it off as a loss and stop calling.

If you have the name of the agency, first contact the BBB. Also, try to find out what state they are based in.
