When I plug in the player into the USB port it does not show up on the computer or in the my computer file. Please help I am going crazy with this.

Right Click on My Computer and choose 'Explore'. Or Click Start then Run and type explorer. Then you can drag files from the right hand window to folders in the left hand window.
One tip is to use your right mouse button when dragging, this way you get to choose copy, move or create shortcut and then you are certain about what you have done. Otherwise the computer will choose which it does without telling you.

Windows calles any time you explore a folder using Windows Explorer. If you are using iTunes, right click and there will be an option to open the file using windows explorer.
