Everyone is forgetting that the NFL is too stupid to base drafting players on actual RESULTS. The number one pick in the draft will probably be Brady Quinn because of the way he "looks" based on measureables. Are Troy Smith, Colt Brennan (Hawaii), and probably Jamarcus Russell better quarterbacks? YES! But that will all get lost in the fact that Brady Quinn has all the "right stuff." And the Raiders will end up looking like the Texans as their first round, number 1 pick looks average at best and players like Vince Young tear it up in the NFL. Congratulations Raiders, have fun spending another 5 years in mediocrity!

As of right now, I think it'll be Calvin Johnson
he is in my opinion the best all around player in the entire draft
the Raiders have a disgruntled Jerry Porter and Randy Moss, who wants to be traded, its definitely a need that should be addressed...but they also need a QB...BADLY
I just don't see a QB bein worth the #1 pick...yesterday I would've said different...then I saw that PITIFUL display by Quinn yesterday

The Russell guy at LSU. That is the best arm in college football ... in a long time, like since Carson Palmer or maybe even Drew Bledsoe.

Oakland has the pick and they need EVERYTHING! Soooo, the best players available are
Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame (I think he sucks, put pro scouts love him)
Jamarcus Russell, QB, LSU (especially after his performance last night in the Sugar Bowl)
Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech (best WR this year, no question)
Banks, DT, Michigan (his first name eludes me, outside shot at #1 pick, prototype DT)
Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii (just my choice, rocket arm, very accurate, record-breaker)

Raiders will pick calvin johnson they will pass up brady quinn and try and get a second round qb
