Just call up Sprint and ask when your contract expires.

You'll need a new phone though. Sprint and Verizon don't use the exact same network (well, technically, you should be able to get voice if you "unlock" the phone, but it's not worth the hassle). You can keep your telephone number though.

You can transfer (port) your number to Verizon, but you will need a new phone. Phones are cheap or sometimes free with a 2 year contact. Other providers offer similar deals. Just look around online to see what best fits your needs.

The answer is YES. Once your contract is up with a cellular telephone provider you are allowed to change to another provider and KEEP the same number, and telephone if you desire. (Some restrictions apply but generally you can do it with NO problem)

Check with the NEW provider a few weeks before your old contract is up and they can advise you exactly what you need to do.

THE ANSWER IS YES!!! JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T CHANGE YOUR RATE PLAN WITH SPRINT BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU'LL RESTART AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 2YRS.
