Anything that goes along with the body's natural healing is good to use. The body is intelligent and can heal itself if you give it the proper nutrition.

Yes, although the danger might not be what you believe it to be.

You are right to connect blood pressure and ED, but there's something else that needs to be in the equation, too, and it means that you might not be quite as healthy as you might think.

The male reproductive system includes a hydraulic system, doesn't it? I mean, it takes blood pressure and, even more importantly, blood flow for the thing to work.

We know that atherosclerosis affects the arteries of the heart, but we often forget that what affects them affects others as well. If cholesterol plaques are forming in your coronary arteries, they're also forming in yoru femoral arteries, which are really close to the system in question.

Viagra is a vasodilator, as is the nitrous oxide you mention. That is, both increase blood flow by relaxing arteries and veins. This lowers blood pressure, which is why men on hypertension drugs should not take Viagra and other drugs like it.

But you see what the problem is? Blood flow, which means that the arteries and/or veins of your genitals are becoming blocked. Viagra masks this problem without solving it.

That's why cardiologists know that a man in his fifties who needs Viagra stands a very good chance (25% I think it is) of a heart attack or stroke in two years.

You need blood pressure medicine, you're asking about ED solutions, and you say that you are a healthy 58 year old?

I'm afraid that you're not as healthy as you might think.

It's time to change your lifestyle.

Do you smoke? Stop.

Do you eat the standard American diet? Stop. The PDAY and ARMY studies show that heart disease in America starts in the very young becasue we eat the wrong stuff. We've known this at least since Viet Nam, when soldiers in surgery for wounds were found to have noticeable coronary artery plaques. And these men were 19 and 20 years old.

Are you overweight? Lose it. Get down to a Body Mass Index of 21 or, at most, 22 and stay there.

Eat no fat.

Exercise. Vigorously. Run, don't walk, and do it for 45 minutes a day.

Start now, because you're in greater danger than you think.

Hi There.

First, I would say definitely consult with a qualified Doctor.. either a GP or a Urologist, since you're on prescription medications.

I don't think the pills work so well, and your best bet is penis exercises, which over time naturally stimulate and increase your stamina.

Good Luck, and Be Well!

See a Urologist - he/she has medical training in this field and should be the only one with a plan for your problem after completing a complete physical.
