i have a dog that i need to get a home for. i rescued him in september him from a shelter in melbourne, florida because i'm a sucker and he only had a few days left before he was.....euthanised. i have four other dogs and two out of the four dogs and he didn't get along. he is a 6 to 7 month old brindle pit bull. he is house broken, crate-trained, has been neutered, has a microchip and his vaccines are current. he has the best disposition and loves my four year old son. i also have two cats and four rats and he's never shown aggression in the least to any of them. i refuse to take him back to the shelter but i am not able to keep him. if he and my other pit bull and springer spaniel hadn't of had two horrible fights, i would be keeping him for sure. he also gets along great with my miniature pinscher and doberman pinscher. please help. i'm kinda going nuts.

i don't want to sound like a quitter but no, keeping them in seperate rooms isn't a possibilty. my mom would be careless and wind up letting them have a go at each other again.

See if there is an animal rescue organization there. One here specializes in finding adoptive homes for pure breeds. they have an Internet link to another group that helps with adoption and people put the animals picture and info on the web.

Put an ad in your local paper and give him away to a good home if you can't keep him.
