my husband and i have been trying for a baby since june with no positive result, my last period was the 6th dec 06, does anyone no the best few days to try, plz help xx

One week and a half to 2 and a half weeks after your period is the best time to get pregnant in most cases. You can also try to decide the sex of the baby. Closer to the one and a half week will likely result in a girl because the sperm will have to have lived longer and closer to the two and a half weeks will likely result in a boy.

You need to calculate your ovulation (go buy ovulation test and basal body thermometer). Normally its anywhere from 14 to 21 days after the first day of your last period. Normal is 14 to 18 days. So if your period was the 6th I would say you may have gotten pregnant around the 20th of dec, or if you have not then if you get your period this month, try having sex every other day for the month. Do not use any products (douche, etc) for this will interfere with the sperm entering, do not do any positions but missionary (prop a pillow under your pelvis during sex)...and do not clean yourself for atleast 20 minutes after the sperm enters you.

It depends on how long your cycles are (from the first day of one period to the first day of the next.) If it's 28 days, then the best day to try for a baby would be around day 14 (14 days after the first day of your period.) So this month, it would have been Dec. 20. Get an ovulation prediction kit....it'll tell you more accurately.

how long is your cycle ?? depending on that count 13-20 days after your last period and have sex every other day between those days. My cycle is 35 days long but I Ovulated on the 17th. Watch your cm when you notice it being like egg whites and kinda stringy that is when you are most fertile. You could always try an ovulation kit or depending on how much money you want to spend you could get a clear blue easy fertility monitor. That is what I used and I got pregnant the month I first used it. GOOD LUCK.

The best way to get pregnant is if you enjoy to have sex. Don't have sex just for the sake of having a baby, then it becomes a chore, and then one of you or both of you will get bored. Have sex to connect with your partner intimately, emotionally, as well as physically. Make sex fun by going on vacation to your favorite place over a weekend. Rent a bed and breakfast somewhere. And then just enjoy yourselves. When you are relaxed and not stressed out, then you have a higher chance of getting pregnant.

The 14th day after your periods, and keep checking your discharge texture, when its clear like egg white texture, means your ovulating.
