i was an honor student last year but now that im doing algebra i have an f in math what do i do to bring my grade up?

the most important things are to have confidence, have a plan, and execute on the plan. it sounds so simple, but if you put it into practice, it will work wonders

First, Pay attention in class and take as many notes as possible. Also, It is necessary to earnt the respect of your teacher. That way they will be more willing to help you when you need help and they will know that you are putting in the effort. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I cannot stress enough how important it is to do your homework every night. Teachers give homework for reason and it is to reinforce the topics that are most important. By doing your homeowrk, you can often get a good idea as to what will be on tests or quizzes. If your teacher offers extra help for review classes before or after school go to them. This will not only offer you more time to learn but it also shows that you care about your grades and you are really working hard. Don't forget to ask MANY questions. Lastly, If these things can't solve the problem, you might want t have a paretn or a tutor coach you.

Read the material out of the book. Take very good notes out of your algebra class. Make sure you do your homework every night and make sure your answers are correct. If you are having difficulty in this class, ask your teacher, your classmates, or get a tutor, so that you understand the material better. Review your notes, your algebra book, and previous homework assignments, so that when it comes to taking tests, you are prepared to take them.

study harder would be my recommendation. algebra is really easy though, i suggest if you are struggling you get a tutor who can teach it better than yours, because with a good teacher you can do algebra really easy... good luck
