Neither. I do not like the information to fluff ratio (too much noise).
I get all my news from the internet (from CNN to FoxNews, from PBS to Digg and of course The Onion [America's Finest News Source, www.theonion.com]).
That way, I can decide what I am interested in and continue to dig deeper.
The other problem with TV and radio programs nowadays is that they give you some teaser info and then send you to their website anyway. Why even bother watching the TV program if the actual info is only found on their website?
And finally I hate those feel good puppy stories (infotainment) and promotion of network programs disguised as news (... when we come back we will tell you who was voted off the island...arrgh).

Of course, while commuting, the only safe option is radio.

Actually most people, when it comes to news, will listen to the TV while doing other things until something of interest catches their attention. I myself enjoy listening to the news on the radio through the course of the day, but when I'm really trying to concentrate on absorbing the info I have to watch it on TV.

Tv. Because you can see the videos/photos.
I do listen to the news on the radio when I'm in the car.

Hope this answers your question.

I listen to the TV, it is more up to the minute. Also Talk Radio, takes on a sort of biased view I have found, although so does Fox news..... But I think the best up to the minute news can be found on TV, Specifically CNN.

I don't like TV news because it isn't really news. It is entertainment, and it is biased but doesn't acknowledge the fact.
On radio you can get more information, and the bias is usually acknowledged.
The internet is best. You can go to multiple sources to find out what you want, and get different points of view.

Definitely TV for two reasons. 1- I like the visuals. 2- I work in radio, and after spending 4 hours on air every day, I need those visuals.

Never limit yourself to just one source of news. Radio tends to have a very Conservative bias, and TV a very liberal one. So either source your really only going to get the point of view of whomever owns the company.

Probably your best bet for "fair news" (if there is such a thing) would be the Internet. It is far less controlled by those with a vested interest in politics.

Radio. TV news is terrible. I get the majority of news from internet sites, but my second fave is NPR, and it's only on the radio.
