I just imagine what advice my mom would give me. I know she'd want what's best for me and what is fair. So having an inner dialogue where I weigh the pros and cons against the internal projection of my mom allows me to discover what is the right thing to do. Then I am confident and at peace.

If you have a huge decision to make, you will have to be able to live with the final decision that you make. Weigh all of the consequences of your decision. Review all of the pros and cons of the decision that you will finally decide upon. As long as the decision does not infringe on the rights of others you will be at peace. Other people in our lives are important, however, there are times that we have to make hard decisions that we have to live with. It is good to respect the input from other people that are close to us, but we are the ones to make the ultimate decision. "To thine own self be true."

Research as much as possible....I tend to be data driven to balance off my strong opinions. I then sort out pros and cons.
Mind you, I do this quickly and then dive in. That leap of faith can be both scary and exhilarating.
Best of luck to you if you have a huge decision in front of you.
