These products coat your hair with a plastic that reflects the darker hair colour. They tend to make hair look green though. You would be better off going to your local salon and asking about high or low lights. These give a much more natural look.

i never tried just 4 men i was advised to buy a hair colour from the womens section as its better also if u choose the right shade it wont matter which brand u get all that matters is that u prop saved a few pounds
i have dyed my hair b4 using womens hair dye noone noticed any difference till i went a comp diff colour lol

yes it does work, but use a shade lighter than your natural colour, this colourant works very fast so it can look obvious if you go dark to quickly.
