Just a side thought here. The Obama Administration is going to keep pushing and pushing in an attempt to make us react. We must not. That's exactly what they want. For the last 2 years Glenn Beck has been preaching that the first side to go violent, loses, because that side will lose credibility with the American public. In such an environment I suggest we remember the lesson taught by Martin Luther King Jr. Non-violence. Take the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and demonstrate that we are dignified people who will resist Tyranny by lawful means.

Yes in the long run it is. A lie can really hurt no matter what the intentions, But the intentions should always be taken into consideration as well. The best way to go is to not lie, no matter what. Lies are what rips apart a relationship.

A lie, for sure is a lie!
But I guarantee you, that if I had to lie,in order to protect someone I loved, Id' lie in a heart beat, and pray for forgiveness that night. This life isn't fair and a lot that is going on in this world isn't fair either.

There is never any excuse for lying (or being dishonest) as you stated. The best policy is honesty. If you really care for people you will allow them the opportunity to decide if they can handle the truth.
