Yes. And you could pierce a nerve or cause the cartilage to tear or collapse. This is a piercing that should ONLY be done by a professional.

Yeah...it doesn't matter if you do it or some one else does it...it's gonna hurt. The cartilage takes a long time to heal..somewhere around a year....so be patient!!! I recommend that you don't do it yourself it is likely to come out funky!!!

DON'T DO IT YOURSELF. Go get it done professionally. Of course it will hurt, even more than a regular ear piercing.

yes ofcourse it will hurt, no matter who is doing it because your cartilage is getting peirced. Infact it might be more painful and slow if you do it yourself so i suggest getting it done professionally. good luck. x

Does it hurt to get it done (by someone other than urself and no not a friend) no doesn't hurt at all anymore than lobe which is nothing

But its really stupid to do it by yourself....the needle may not be sharp enough...ect...

it hurts if you get your cartlage pierced proffessionally! you can't do it yourself, that's unsanitary and dangerous.
