My opinion is no because I watch a lot of TV show on DVD and I can watch a whole season in one sitting, depending on whether it's 13 episodes or less. I watched 24, in like 2 days. As a matter of fact, TV increase my attention span.

Only the network news, imo. It's gotten worse in the last decade for only perking interest in the haps, and rarely goes more than just the headline--no detail whatsoever. Somehow people think they're informed after watching an hour?!!
Entertainment programming can expand your attention-span. Just look at LOST, Heroes, CSI, ER, etc. People remember what happened to whom when and why for years, and it's only one hour a week for about 23 weeks out of 52.

My daughter is 4 and we've a rather strict a million.5 hour in line with day shrink on television time. on the commencing up of the day she chooses what shows she needs to computer screen. i exploit 0.5 an hour for myself to have some on my own time - the two to atone for my computing device, make telephone calls, or purely sit down and do my nails. the different hour i exploit to do domicile projects that i don't want my daughter to help me with (like scrubbing lavatories). We purely harm our limit whilst she's ill, or we've had days and days of undesirable climate. yet on a random wet day, we've a definite bin of toys interior the storage for wet day play. So mutually as I agree w/ this text in many strategies, i think of that we can be careful and alter to fulfill our actual existence.
