the best way i know how to fix em is to smear tooth paste (any brand or kind) over the cd and scrub it, the tooth paste will fill in any scraches an the cd will play like new, you also get a minty cd, go in circular motions and rinse of with a damp paper towel, works on glass too!

their a few proucts out their that say they can fix scrached cd but don't work to well you may have to take a hit

If they are not too bad, you can wash them in soap and water. Dry with a microfiber towel. If that does not do it, there are products to fix the problem. Check the audio department at major stores.

Buy disk doctor from your local department store or Best Buy. Also some video game stores, like Game Crazy have machines that can buff them out for you for a small price.

flush it in the toilet. seriously. it won't go down - I promise. Take it out & dry it with a towel. It will play 100x better - I swear!

you need a disc buffer (not the digital streaming media kind, i mean an actual device that resurfaces it). apparently they can be cheap, but they're effective.
