Pirates of the Caribbean 2 or maybe 1, The Dead Man's Chest is scarier. I've heard Friday the 13th is REALLY scary! Have fun at your sleepover!

the ring is a pretty standard answer, here, if you haven't seen it, you should. let's see, kinda depends on what you find scary (and how old you are), but some good ones are dawn of the dead, 28 days later, resident evil (the 1st one), silent hill - all pretty recent, most very violent. some classics are the haunting (the original), psycho (the original), texas chainsaw massacre (the original), dawn of the dead (the original), poltergeist (thank god no one's remade it), reanimator, the lady in white, and halloween. if you're looking for something fairly unique, check out peter jackson's the frighteners with michael j fox.

"hide and seek" is a really good one. "the ring" movies aren't bad. the "scream" movies are classic. "red eye" is amazing! "the faculty" is good, although it's not very scary. the "candyman" movies, though old, are good. i really liked "donnie darko" and "gothika" too.

have fun! :)
