ALWAYS TRY THE EASIEST OPTION FIRST, DON'T THROW MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN (THATS WHAT REPAIRERS WANT YOU TO DO) DO HAVE THE WHEELS BALANCED FIRST, IF THAT CURES IT YOU HAVE SAVED MONEY IT USUALLY IS THE WHEEL BALANCE!!!

Since you are saying that the wobble is worst at slow speeds I would first check to see if your tires are out-of-round. Does your steering wheel wobble from side to side when you are first taking of from a stop? Second I would check the tie-rod ends and rack-n-pinion for any play on them. Last I would check your tire balance, but I seriously doubt that is your problem since out of balance tires cause wobbles at higher speeds not low ones. Hope this helps, good luck!

Balance. If it started suddenly I would take a stab you lost a (wheel balance) weight. Happens quite often. Get the wheels re balanced.
Also could be tread separation on one of the tires (a bubble)

It could be as simple as your front tyres have worn out or slightly uneven. To eliminate this swap the front tyres round on to the back and try that as long as your back tyres are alright. Or it could be that your wheels require balancing

Some part of your stering system is wearing out, you should get it checked before it breaks and causes you to loose control of your car. It could be a tie rod end or something a simple as a bent rim or out of balance tire, possibly a bubble on your tire (seperation of the rubber part of your tire from the main part of the tire). Good luck and Stay safe!

Without looking at it, I can't tell you exactly what it is, but I can tell you I would not be driving that car until it is fixed. It sounds like steering components, or a tire with a major blemish. Get it looked at ASAP. Most tire shops do front end work, also.

Sounds like your alignment is out of wack. If you have been in a accident lately then your frame could be bent. If not, your alignment can be knocked out of wack usually caused by pot holes and curbs. Usually can be fixed with a warranty for under $100
