My daughter is 15 and wears one, her dad says that she gets the idea from me, i wear them. Is this a mistake?

I'd say she's too young if you're talking about a bikini she wears to a beach or pool. If you're talking about thong panties she wears as underwear then, why not if she likes them. I have a 12 year old daughter and I wouldn't want her (in three years) to be dressing that sexy. A normal bikini would be revealing enough at that age.

No! Coming from a woman and a mother we think of it as a natural thing. We use them so that our panty line won't show and sometimes to feel sexy. Men have a different opinion on that because they see things differently and are visual. No father wants to really know about these things or even think about it. This is because they think that thongs are sexy and fathers don't even want the slightest idea of their daughter in one. It's a girl thing and regardless she will were them with or without his approval.

Yes. Teens even at 15 are way to young. It's good to be confident about your body but for god sake.... that sends out the wrong message to everyone about her and about you and her dad. If you dress nicely and more conservatively your daughter will too. She most definitely gets the idea from you... mom's although as teens rarely want to admit it are our hero's. Good Luck.

I think 15 is a bit young for thong bikini's, but everyone is different and that's just my opinion.
Note to Thomas J.: I'm 39, a toned size 6 and still sport a thong.

I don' t think it's wrong. If you do then both of you stop. She'll be 18 in 3 years anyway. Y'all can even go pantie shopping together. I started when I was young, and I'm perfectly normal. No bastard children, in college, awesome job. It's just what you think that matters. Also, don't let all these people make you question if you're a good parent or not.

Sure it's OK, as long as your comfortable being addressed as grandmother. My suspicion is that if your still sporting a thong as the parent of a 15 year old, that it would might deflate your ego. So, over sexualizing your own children, is generally a no-no.

wear whatever you want you are an adult. My wife wears them and she tells me it's to stop panty lines and the ol ride up.
This is solely my opinion. I believe that 15 year old girls should be more concerned with thier studies and less concerned about what people think thier butt looks like. you might explain that you did not wear them till you were well on your way in life. And your mother most likely did not know of them or did not let you wear them in her house. As far as I'm concerned they are adult atire.

Yes I think it is to young fro teen girls to wear thong binikis b-cuz that gives men the impression that the girl is older and that makes them want to hit on the girl and thats a reason as to why girls r getting raped and killed.
