I dont like anything about it. The weather is completely different (too hot and humid) unlike alaksa where the weather is cold and snowy. No one here likes me. They think im strange and differnt cuz im the new kid in school and no one believes me when i told them i moved here from AK. I had to get all new clothes cuz its too hot here. I get burned easily cuz my skin is pale. so i have a really bad sunburn right now. I just want to fit in and make some new friends. can someone tell how to make some?

I'm originally from AK and moved to TX. I feel your pain about the weather change. Humidity sucks! Give it time to make friends. Trust me, you're gonna get sick of people asking you about Alaska. Somehow news would travel that I was from Alaska and strangers from my college (my school was about 48,000 people big!) would start talking to me about it. Be tough--it'll be a blessing before long.

I live in Orlando. And yeah, the humidity'll get to you. Every other day is a bad hair day, I swear..
Anyway. We get new kids at our school all the time, and they fit in eventually. Our schools are very diversed, so just talk to the kinds of kids you used to talk to. Be laid back and confident and people will talk to you. Cheer up, things will only get better hun!
