i have a cyberhome dv,dvr, recorder with progressive scan & play back?

i do believe its stuck on progressive mode but know how to tak it off that mode i can hear it play and hear the voices but no picture what can i do to get a pic.

First, check your remote. Maybe it has a key to turn on/off progressive. (Sometimes the key/switch is on the player itself, check both the front and the back)

If not, disconnect your component cables
Connect one of them (say green) to composite (yellow plug) on the player, connect the other side to the TV's composite.
Now you should be able to see the DVD player's menu. Go to setup and change the output to interlaced.
Go back and reconnect the component cables.
