Some people just have no manners.
I always cover my mouth when sneezing, coughing, and yawning.
Blame the 'trailer trash' parents for the children who are rude.

For some reason, some people have no hygienic manners and feels it is unnecessary to cover their mouth (although you shouldn't really put your hand over your mouth).
Germs that are released from sneezing and coughing may not all be harmful to us, but theirs always one germ that is, and if that germ reaches you, you could end up having something as bad as a fever. That's what a cough and a sneeze is capable of.
AND that's why you should never put your hand over your mouth, because your passing the germs back to yourself and end catching something by your own doing.
You're better off keeping a tissue you in your pocket handy to prevent any bad germs from getting anywhere at all.

Most often its down to the way they are brought up, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, sit up and eat your meal nicely, don't pick your nose, correct parenting.
However, these days, manners and consideration for your fellow neighbour seems to have taken a dive. What a sad reflection.
Did you know that if someone sneezes and does not cover face or nose, those germs remain air born for anything up to an hour or more, and then we go walk through that bit of space, and hey ho there you go, you catch their cold germs???
We will certainly have to tighten up this misdemeanour pretty sharp if we have the dreaded BIRD FLUE huh?

Not every one sneezes or coughs, without puting their hands in front of their mouth,
But the one's who do,
Have no respect for others.

I don't think they should because if you sneeze or cough on your hands then you go to touch everything else that everyone else touches (handshakes, door knobs, money, inkpens), you're spreading germs. People should bend over & aim their head at the ground to sneeze or cough.

Bad manners. But I love giving my wife the 'Dutch Oven' though, by letting rip with a wet one in bed then pulling the duvet over her head and holding her there.
