I've built a site for my parents and it ranks very well under terms such as berkshires listings, berkshires realtors, berkshires real estate and the berkshires. These are all keyword phrases I feel are approciate for their berkshires real estate business.

seo spam means stuffing your page with keywords to rank well, using unethical search engine optimization techniques etc. Basically, anything that google doesn't like ;)
