what do you do when your new to a school and have no friends there?

im new at a school in brighton and have no friends what do i do to make friends?

I have lots of experience with this one! I went to about a dozen different schools when I was a kid.

1. Be nice and friendly to everyone you meet. Always treat them with respect, even if they are mean. (Some people are mean to the new kid, but if you are nice to them in return, they will warm up to you).

2. Get involved with as many activities are you are comfortable with participating in. Pick things you are interested in, and you have a ready-made conversation starter. This is the best thing you can do.

3. Talk to people. Lots of people. Ask them how they are doing. Ask them about themslves. Then, most importantly, listen to what they have to say.

4. Have a good sense of humor. You'll need this more than anything!

Good luck with your new school! It is tough at first, but if you follow these easy steps, then you'll have plenty of friends!

Just be sweet && say hello to people who look nice....if they don't && just give you an attitude then give them some time && eventually the'll be nice....but just be yourself && everything will fall into place...good luck....
