My husband installed a low flow toilet yesterday because he accidentally broke our tank when trying to fix it=) What the hell good is a low flow toilet if you have to flush the damn thing twice to get TOILET PAPER to go down?

Oh...the frustration!

I don't use a lot of toilet paper...I'm talking about a small amount...maybe 4 sheets not a freak'n roll.

I wish I knew. The city required me to replace all of the toilets in 40 rentals to low flow. Net result: besides the huge plumber's bill for installation my overall plumbing expenses for the building more than doubled in the first year as did my water bill. I really do not understand how they conserve water!

Sounds like you got a cheap low flow toilet.

I have an American Standard Champion model that uses only a third the water of my old toilet and is the best flusher I've ever had.

I recently bought a Niagra low volume flush toilet, it worked so well I replaced the other one also. I bought it at Home Depot. Also they don't hold the water in the tank so there is no sweating. They flush first time every time.

not sure what kind you got but i just had one installed and it has a 2 flush system. One flush is for when you just go number #1 and another flush for when you go #2. You can read more about here

seems such as you acquire a low-priced low pass bathroom. I even have an American common Champion kind that makes use of in undemanding terms a 0.33 the water of my previous bathroom and is the final flusher i've got ever had.

Toto makes great toilets.

Oh, they make the ones with the toilet seat covers that don't slam shut.
