I am really enjoying discovering music through Limewire. Only problem is that it downloads into its own library, and you then have to export that into Itunes. If you download new stuff regularly, you have to keep importing from Limewire into Itunes, and then you keep having to delete the inevitable duplicates.
I've tried telling Limewire to send music straight to Itunes music library, but it doesn't seem to appear.
Any help gratefully appreciated (and downloading does not stop me buying CDs, by the way!)
Thanks

They Dont Automaticly Download Into It But Obv Once Youve Down Loaded Them You Can Drag Them Over Also Can Drag More Than One .. You Have To Click On The Top Song You Want Moved To The Bottom One Holding Shift Which Will Mark All The Songs You Want And Then Drag Them Over To Your Itunes Libary.

Here you can find a good place where to download Limewire: http://j.mp/1lOKjEu

Limewire is good software i still use it to this day. I really like Limewire, I'm actually an avid user of it. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. If you are looking for a good peer to peer software to download music, softwares/programs and videos you should get limewire too.

It's a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. It does not matter what P2P program you use, you always have to be cautious about what you download.

Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

ok i do this cause i use limewire. make a folder on you desktop called music then go to the limewire libary and highlight all the songs then click on them then drag to the folder, then close limewire after you are done and then open i tunes and then open the music folder that u made. Now just double click on the song and it will play on itunes and you have to do that to every song and then after they have all played then just hook up your ipod and upload the songs onto it..

you can select in the settings of limewire where you want to download the music to, so you can set the folder location, check out properties.

Make sure your running a good spyware program and antivirus and firewall software as limewire is notorious for letting in trojans and key loggers, while running limewire i was forever getting crap coming in and my computer failing. just buy a track for 79p from itunes!

ok well you have a folder in itunes(i have this) that says limewire downloads, and it has all the songs, but they dont go to your ipod

so what i do, is whenever the download is complete, you press explore and it opens up the file with all your downloads, so then, you right click and i dont know if its on yours, but you go to >open with>itunes

and then it copys that song to your library and vuala, you have that song on your ipod,

hope this helps!

Change the setting of the music into the itunes folder. Also you can remove duplicate songs by going on settings.
