I came out of the shop this evening, and a traffic warden was printing a ticket out, as far as i am aware the warden must sign it place it in the yellow envelope and take a photo of it on my windscreen, as i climbed into my car she said, "its already been issued" i didnt even argue with her i just jumped in my car, as i did so she quickly ripped it off her printer and just tucked the ticket under my wiper, then tried to take a photo as i drove off. im sure im ok but just checking.

Why is it on here some of you seem to think you can say what you want to people, this was merely a question and for all of you who replied with abuse i paid the fine today, maybe you should think about what you say, not all of us who use yahoo answers are idiots. Thanks.

The lesson is don't park illegally, why should you get off because of a technicality. Pay the bill, I was stopped for speeding and paid because I was wrong and accepted the responsibility. When you ask a question be prepared for any type of answer, if people think you are a tosser or **** then accept it, no doubt you would have loved a lot of support, glad you didn't get it you prick !

As far as the law states, If a ticket has been printed writen on it has been issued, If you fail to wait for it to be issued to you if you return to the vehicle, then it is still issued. you will have no come back. If you went to court the warden would be asked why it was not placed on the vehicle, they will say " you returned and failed to wait for the ticket to be issued even though it was printed" you will be found guilty, i sugest you pay it

Were you parked illegally? Then pay the ticket and stop trying to wriggle out of it. Do you realise how pathetic you sound, looking for some non-existant loophole so you can escape the consequences of your actions?
Have I ever parked illegally? Of course I have.
Have I ever had a ticket? Sure.
Have I acted like a big kid over it? No, just paid up.

Yes it most certainly is legal. The ticket is deemed "issued" once it is on your screen or handed to you. The photo will be you rushing off with the ticket probably visible. Pay it and learn a £60 lesson.

No Parking tickets are are legal
We should be allowed to park / stop where ever we like no matter how many Ambulances / Fire Engines / Coastguards / Doctors or Pedestrians we obstruct. Kcuf em car drivers are far more impotant than poor pedestrian povs

I would appeal it say the traffic warden was waiting around the corner hidden from view.

If you were illegally parked it is. Hope she gets her commission. Scumbags like you and your pathetic excuses. You just drove off?!! did you check for kids etc. People like you should not be on the road. Shame on the rest of you who supported her question. If you can't afford the fine don't park there.

Good luck fighting it! I would say you're screwed, you should just pay the ticket. But I am just a lawyer in Nevada, what do I know? You should seek the services of a laywer in your area.
