I don't consider Cher highly and I'm gay. When will people realise (if ever) that you cannot generalise. Also why are there loads of homophobes on this section, unless they are just closeted gays, who pretend to be happily married, or straight?

Because she is so over the top fabulous! She has this amazing deep voice with a lot of power behind it. Her style is her own; she wears these wild Bob Mackie outfits like no one else. How can everyone not appreciate her. She's one of a kind.
