Initial thought was The Yardbirds- Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page. So the answer might have been Jimmy Page..............but he didn't actually join Led Zepplin, rather had to form them......
Then thought maybe Manfred Mann..no same kind of deal..........
