so many people tell me the coil is bad for u and im gettin paranoid has anyone really had a bad experience?

i got an appointment to get it removed tommorow so i need serious anwser

if you are that worried about it them maybe getting it removed would be best for you. but the medical profession would not provide the coil if it was bad for you, millions of women use it worldwide.

But as i said, as you obviously have doubts about it, then i guess your never going to be happy with it, therefore i would recommend having the implant in your arm. It lasts 3 years and is not that pain full to have put in, the only downside to it is the bruise you get on your arm when it has been put in.

Well because of the way it is positioned it can cause problems for some women. It is usually recommended to woman who have had children as the muscles inside have stretched & then they never completely go back to how they were after natural labour, therefore it is more comfortable for a lady who has had a baby. If you are getting infections - (sounds like it) maybe it isnt suited to you.

My 3rd child was concieved while I had a coil in, the doc told me it was 97% safe when I had it fitted, then when i got pregnant my midwife told me it was only 90% safe. I'd had them fitted before and never got pregnant tho, many of my friends have used it successfully too, I really do think I was the exception to the rule.

If a woman becomes pregnant with an IUD present, this device should be taken out by a gynecologist.

I have the Mirena IUD and love it. It was highly recommended by my Dr.........and I trust him very much. So far no regrets or side effects!!!
