What do people mean when they call you a scene or a poser or can you tell what they all are and what they mean

"Scene" usually refers to the local musical scene (i.e., punk scene, indie scene), or, applied to a person, the supporters and constituents thereof. A "Poser" (sometimes spelled 'poseur') is a person who simply likes dressing and acting a certain way without truly being part of the subculture or scene. They usually just enjoy being seen/noticed and pretending to be part of it. For example (this is more sports than scene), a person who buys lots of Tony Hawk stuff and expensive skateboarding clothes but never learns to skateboard, all because they only want a 'skater' image.

Being "scene" to an extreme volume is amazingly basically yet in the different case of conformity, like dressing preppy, being a jock, or growing to be a member of a gang.
