Fast and easy, first try about three grams of vitamin C per day. (It seems like a lot, but Linus Pauling took up to ten grams). take some (a gram or so) with each meal, so it isn't in the stomach without a buffer. If that by itself doesn't do it, go to a health food store, or a library and look up PRESCRIPTION FOR NATURAL HEALING (it is written by a husband and wife named Balch) What is getting you is the sudden dramatic change in hormone levels. Calcium generally helps cramps, and you might have a shortage. Greens are a good source

have you tried taking birth conrol pills..it can make a world of a difference. I had the same problem as you. But now im on the pill. not only are my periods lighter and shorter but the cramps almost nothing at all.
You may also want to take aleve a day or two b4 you start your period so that the pain meds are already running through your bodies system when you do get it.

When I was in high school I always had really bad cramps before and during my period. As a matter of fact, one year during semester exams, my cramps were so bad that I passed out in the hall just before the bell rang for classes to get out and other people saw me lying there -- I was mortified!
My grandmother suggested that I try taking a tablespoon of black pepper to alleviate my cramps. This worked quite well, but was not pleasant to take. As I got older I discovered that you can purchase cayenne pepper in a capsule form at most drugstores, so now I take that instead of the dry black pepper.

easy peasy!!
all you have to do is go soak in a warm bubble bath and just sit there for about 30 to 45 minutes.
my mom always makes me do that when i start to get cramped, so you are not in this alown.
you are a girl and we all go through it.
i know that it is embarrinig.
but you just have to deal with it .
so plz tak my advice and hope for the better of the problem.
i know what you are going through. it is normal.
i have nothing much more to tell you.
and just do as i say and take pain pills and drink alot of floudis(no cafeen) it will make you bloat.(water will do the trick)
i dont quite know what you are going throught because i have noy started yet, but i grow up with all girls in the family. so i always have to give this kind of advice to my cousins. i have read a book about this kind of think thing.
my mom got the book at barn and knobbles.
the tittle of the book is call all about growing up into a lady.
i just wanted to let you know where i got it and what the tittle is incase you wanted to get it.
it would give you a heads-up about what is coming your way.
so take my advice for granit and get the book and you and your momther sit down and read it together.
and i hope that the pain will go away as soon as you get done soaking in a warm buble bath.
ands i garentee that the book will help ypu learn how to take care of the problem.

It sounds as if you might have an ovarian cyst. Call you doctor because they can do an ultrasound to see. Although, there isn't much they can do - hopefully it will rupture on it's own (you will tell because your period will be VERY heavy). I've had these and they are really painful and yes, I've curled up on the floor too.
I'm sorry. I hope you feel better soon.

First of all the most important thing is to breathe! Take deep breathes and try to relax. Breathing releases endorphins, which are your bodies natural pain healers.
Stretching also helps a lot. If you do, or know, yoga...do it. Anything that stretches your pelvic area.
A heating pad also helps.

I'm a nurse. You need something prescribed by a doctor, a narcotic. This will give you relief. Also continue to use the heating pad and drink warm fluids instead of cold. See the doctor.

I get bad pains but it sounds that yours come REALLY bad. Well, you can try taking a warm tea, a pain killer and the heating pad. Just lay till the pain goes away. Aw, I feel really bad. :( I hope it goes away quick.
