I've heard that nudity was allowed in some areas of the Outer Banks, but that's only hearsay on my part. Check out The Naturist Society in Oshkosh, WI, or the website of the International Naturist Association (go the "Places to Get Naked" part of the site) and you should find what you need.

Try Topsail Island. It's about a 30 minute drive from Wilmington, but it's WAY less crowded than Wrightsville Beach, you never have to search for parking, and the parking is free. I have seen dogs there every time I've ever gone. So, if it's not dog friendly, no one is ever there to enforce the rule.

Yes remote island off the coast. Depending on where you go, it could have 0 to 8 people at a time . I try to go once a week. Just wish I had others to go with.
