Senator John Thune is now one man doing the job of two.

Do you think that the State of South Dakota is properly represented in the U.S. Senate now , or do you think that nothing has changed with Tim Johnson camatose in a hosital bed and not able to communicate.

The dems receive thousands of votes every election from people that are dead so whats the problem?

If he's unable to fulfill his duties as Senator, he should be quickly replaced with an election. The Constitution says all states are apportioned two senators for representation in the Senate, and the situation must be fixed ASAP.

That's like saying the state of Massachusetts is not properly represented since BOTH their senators are brain dead.

I do wish the Senator the best as far as recovery. I hate to see that happen to anyone. But the brain dead part, that is typical demoncrat function.

Just give him 6 months! We will see where it lies then. I don't think he should be given more than 6 months, but I do think he does deserve some time.
