I had numbness on one side and blinded in one eye and i could not talk .I was transported by ambuance to ER and admitted.I had an MRI ..reluts were no apparent stroke.they said i ''may have had a seizure''
The thing is when i returned to my work and ever day life, everyone said my personality had changed.I used to stand back and just do as i was told and never complaine. The first day back i told my boss to back off and leave me alone. My co-workers were shocked and amazed.I was also surprised because I never did this before and it seems like i have gradually become more out spoken and sarcastic and less cooperative..It'slike the old me died..Could they have missed something that caused these changes in my personality?

Something is going on in your frontal lobes, since you had personality changes you didn't recognize (poor insight), impusivity, and anger that you didn't have before you suffered whatever the event was.. MRIs can miss small lesions. Go back to your neurologist with a list of the new behaviors and someone who can describe the changes they see.

Hello Gee,

Did they never recheck you after your ER visit? If not, I would go to a Neurologist to be checked.Organic causes for personality change should be ruled out.
