well everyone thought he`d retired until he returned a few years ago but i think he`s going to carry on for a while yet. However Ric Flair is a legend and i think he should retire with some dignity. He is getting poorer every month and he should retire while he is still in some sort of good condition and make odd appearances like most of the veterans

Ric Flair will not retire, he will have one last match that ends his wrestling career and his life. He and The "Not So" Immortal Hulk Hogan will have a heart attack match, the first and only of it's kind. The outcome of the match will see both men literally leaving it all in the ring one last time. Then the Gong will ring, the arena goes black and the Undertaker will appear on the titan-tron in a dark blue-purple cloudy haze with violent flames rising from the bottom and the only thing the audience can do is watch intently as the Deadman finally claims the souls of arguably the two biggest names in wrestling history and hisses the phrase REST IN PEACE...

Ric Flair is the dirtiest player in the game...and one of my personal favorites of all time!!! Woooooo!!!

However, I do believe his last days are approching us. I would predict his last active year is 2007, but he will always be involved in some way shape or form.

My favorite Flair matches were in WCW in the early 90's and late 80's against Sting, Lex Luger, and Ricky Steamboat. Starrcade 93 when he beat Vader and won the WCW title was great too.

He'll probably try and eek out another year or two. Up til now it was because he was needing money to deal with the divorce procedings and alimony payments. He recently remarried, so that might help him a bit in his personal life... but on WWEs side Vince will likely want to keep using him as much as possible due to the name recognition with the fans and using him to try and put over the younger wrestlers.

Hopefully soon, because it makes me kind of sad to see him damage immensely his health to get some mo bucks.
WWE should put him as Raw's GM , at least he has got more charisma than Bischoff and the Coach combined :)

No he's not ever going to retire. He'll make a cameo appearance even after he dies at wrestlemania 102.

in my opinion i think he's going ot wrestle til the day he dies! but seriously he should really retire b4 he gets killed like his near death experiences like the TLC match between him and edge and his daughter had to c that. and when rated rko gave him 2 conchairtos like 3 weeks ago or something like that and he was left all bloody on the floor and security doesen't do jack sqat about it.

Soon I hope because my tax dollars should not go to for his medicare bills.
He will soon have to use a cane in order to get around.
